I've not watched anything on Cartoon Network since Plastic Man was on the schedules!

Did the UK have the Cartoon Network Fridays branding? Both the East Asian and the Australian channels carried the branding for a few years - by far my all time favourite block on any kids channel when I was growing up.

I sense some snobbery. Not a single mention of the Tumblr phenomenon that is Adventure Time!

Snobbery? It started as a series only 5 years ago, it's well after the time of the vast majority of this forum. I've only seen small amounts of it vicariously thanks to younger relatives watching it.

There is a espoide where a nuck never expolded etc, that one is real.

Is the Tumblr phenomenon because it's genuinely good, or is it like the My Little Pony thing which started as people on 4chan ironically taking the piss because of how bad it was, but somehow people took them seriously?

Adventure Time is very good, but MLP isn't bad. I don't think they were taking the p***. I watched the show to see what the talk was about and the animation and stories very actually very good.

I haven't seen much more of MLP, save for a couple of endings whilst waiting for other shows on Pop. I highly reccomend you check out Adventure Time and MLP.

I wouldn't watch it on CN UK though, they edit far too much out for it's own good. When CITV show Adventure Time, I don't notice any edits though.
