This new thread post is to find out your thoughts and improvements for BBC News Fix. Currently having 3 editors, Jack and Tom during the weekdays and Harry edits during the weekends. This thread will keep you up to date with new blog posts on the site, and we would ask you to tell us unique ideas for our site and anything that has faults and needs editing.

Currently, we are looking for a fourth and final editor to join our team. Work will either begin during the Christmas period, with this editor providing holiday cover. Good knowledge of the BBC newsreaders required, plus one must be able to record their findings during the day (perhaps via TV record) no matter their work commitments. Preferably not someone about to take their exams! If interested e-mail us bbcnewsfix@gmail.com

Thank you

A way to improve that's appropriate?

Oh, very appropriate, perhaps the most appropriate sort of thing possible for this type of site

Well, priorities seem to be in order.

BBC News Fix is simply looking for a new editor. The post doesn't require a great deal of commitment. All that is required is for a person to somehow track some data during the day, if so by doing it via the TV-recorder, to find some information. This fourth editor won't be needed every week, every month. It'll be more during the holidays and when one of the current editors in on study leave (all the editors are students). Please be considerate. They work hard for the website.

Is this position paid btw?

Also are people going to track the rotas of the editors ?

Nope the position isn't paid and no, the editing rota is very simple apart from at Christmas time.

The 3 editors will be working all year round, and after hard work, will be able to have a break during Christmas will let the 4th and final editor to help with editing the site and fill in the presenters rota
