Hey Everyone,

I'm launching a new business, I'm trying to make a go of being a documentary journalist along side my successful local magazine, and in my research I came across Trade Test Colour Transmissions, run by BBC Two in the 1960's and 1970's to test colour television - and I'm totally intrigued! Does anyone have any information?

I was about to suggest the Webfax site but I think all of the information there is now on the Test Card Circle site.

I've seen quite a few films, The Home Made Car, Evoluon and Giuseppina are some of the most famous and best. There's some on YouTube and The BP video library did sell their films on VHS and DVD to the public - I think they still do, I have some and are excellent transfers. It's worth pointing out that none of the films were specially made for BBC TV broadcast.
