Asad - now on LDN

This week I have noticed Asad presenting a lot for BBC LDN. He used to present the sport on News 24, is he with LDN team permanently now?

He is on less as he is presenting World Cup Sportsday with Dominic Cotton so I suppose he might be a stand in.

D'oh! No, the person I mean is Asad Ahmad. I'm trying to find a pic of him but I can't!!!

Sometimes last year he was seen presenting the news round up (at--:30) on Breakfast. Perhaps that might ring a few bells who he is.

yes i've been wondering about him for a while now. im sure he used to be on News 24 - so surely LDN News is a little bit of a step down.

i came to the conclusion, however, that he is just standing in for the delectable Gillian Joseph while she has her baby.

I've seen him on News 24 but he is usually on Reporting Scotland nearly every single night untill recently.

His name is definately Asad ! And he's a BBC bud with talent!

No it ain't, it's Asad Ahmad. He started off doing a load up here in Scotland AFAIK, firstly on the late bulletins and then as one of the main bully newsreaders. He's done the odd bit of radio too and is very good, and as (as has been said) done some of the early bits on Breakfast too.

Maybe Asad Ahmed is freelance.

He's been on Brekkie, N24, UK Today(?), Reporting Scotland and now LDN.
