Just seen the latest 60 seconds b4 johnny vaughan, and Tina Bangs was presenting it (she does Breakfast here in the north west on most days), does anyone know how long she's been doing it?
I'm pretty sure (although I couldn't swear to it) that she did NW Today this morning as well. Seems a bit strange that she's come down for manchester to do this bulletin when she's normally a breakie presenter?!
Yes it was definitely Tina this morning on NWT. I think its usually Tina Mondays to Wednesdays and Nigel Thursday to Sunday. In fact this weekend, Martin Henfield did the bulletins instead of Nigel Jay, which is unusual. In fact, I've always wondered where has Julia Sharp gone!?
In fact, come to think of it, she was bound to be chosen, as on Radio City 96.7 Liverpool, she had to read the news really fast. If you've ever seen her on Brekkie, she is really fast, and I suppose she is suited to 60 seconds!

Tina is our regular stand-in presenter when Tazeen or Sumit are not around ... and yes I can confirm she was doing North West Brekkie bulletins this morning!

So now we know who keys on the countdown timer for 60secs... Pres! At 2030-ish tonight on Choice, at the start of a programme, up popped the 60sec countdown. OOooooh
Are u a fellow listener to Kev in the mornins on City rob?! I too have been wondering about Julia Sharp, personally though, in the mornings I like Nigel Jay on the Breakfast opt outs!

during one NWT bulletin. She made him sound like he was in the army!!!
I think that you might find that Nigel Jay presented NWT this morning on Breakfast because it was his first broadcast as he has come back from a week off and that is why Martin Henfield presented NWT on Saturday and Sunday instead of him.
