Wasn't the only reason they moved out of it eventually that they wanted the studio for the ITN News Channel?
It was weird them keeping the studio (and all the graphics etc associated with the 1995 look, and the different arrangement of the theme music) just for that one bulletin. Literally all they did to keep it in line was replace the logo. Although not as weird as what BBC News 24 did around the same time, wholeheartedly reverting to its previous on-air look overnights (between the time that they had adopted the BBC News corporate look, but BBC World hat yet to do so).
