ITV Regions Fault

Since we got Sky+HD we keep receiving Granada News even though we live in the Calendar region. Does anybody know how we could sort it out?

Is this on ITV 1, +1, or HD?

Currently, ITV 1 HD (Yorkshire and Tyne Tees) is not available. You can manually tune to the 3 other regions which are available.

Spare a thought for those of us in the North East; we get Tyne Tees on 103 (ITV1), YTV on 131 (ITV1+1) and Granada on 178 (ITV1HD).

Your ITV 1+1 should be the Yorkshire and Tyne Tees macro region which outputs the Yorkshire signal an hour later.
Soon your ITV 1 HD will change to the Yorkshire and Tyne Tees macro region which presumably will output the Yorkshire Signal.

In itv's terms, there is no such thing as a Yorkshire/Tyne Tees macro and as far as I'm aware there are no plans in the foreseeable future for a Yorkshire variant of the ITV1 HD service.

Well theres no point is there just to see Calendar in upscaled HD.

All an irrelevance to one third of the 'macro"s viewers though... just one completely irrelevant news service instead of two.

. . . not much better down here either: we get The West Country Tonight (from Bristol) on ITV1, Wales Tonight on ITV1+1, or Central Tonight on ITV1 HD.

None of which are really relevant: even the drivel from Brizzle, which is supposed to include a 15 minute segment from 'our part' of the macro region.
