CBS News Legend Walter Cronkite has died

The "Most Trusted Man in America" has passed away at the age of 92. Walter Cronkite anchored CBS Evening News from 1962 to 1981, and famously broke the news of the death of JFK.

He died following a lengthy battle with illness.

Very saddened by this news. He was a true broadcasting legend, and noone will ever come close to matching his journalistic ability.

As expected CBS Evening News simulcast on Sky News last night dedicated the entire broadcast to Walter Cronkite, and Katy Couric did the broadcast.

No mention of Dan Rather in the programme.
