I thought it was good to see some graphics taking advantage of the full 16:9 screen rather than shoved artificially into the 4:3 safe area. Personally I've always found 4:3 safe graphics to look rather unnatural. I guess it's what you're used to.

Just caught Anna Jones talking to a Fox reporter in the Fox Business studio in New York. They had some absolutely nauseating graphics spinning around on a big screen behind him with both the Fox Business logo and a highly americanised Sky News logo dancing around. Towards the end of the interview, for no apparent reason the camera zoomed out to show more of the studio, with more screens with the same animation running. Honestly, puke-inducing!

They were advertising it on sky news as Boulton v Obama. Unusual way of advertising it as it seems like they are fighting.

That's nothing new. They were getting updates from FBN since the Live Desk started- it's a regular feature for the afternoons whilst in the morning edition of LD they talk to someone from Sydney about the Asian markets

Speaking of bulletin wench's Lukuesa Burak looking different with the glasses today. Other than Jeff Randall and Martin Stanford cant think of any other presenters that wear glasses

Other presenters do wear glasses from time to time- Adam Boulton does and so does Eammon, but they can't be necessary for reading the autocue.

Looks like they have named the baby already! Colin is a great presenter though. He has come back a much better presenter after he was demoted to filling in slots. He is the perfect presenter for the fast paced live desk although sometimes he brings that style of presenting to other time slots.
