I'm new to making mocks and this is my first one i wanted to bring back the old bbc news 24 look with the new bbc news look

what do you think should i carry on?

I'd be very interested to know exactly what News 24 you were watching before the rebrand to BBC News.

Red's too in-your-face, graphics are effectively floating in the middle of the screen and your bottom gap is going to be very off-putting to watch.

The only effective changes you've made is to obscure more of the picture with nothing useful and to make the ticker harder to read in the very portion of screen it's meant to be read in!

Well I actually like it. I think it's better than the rubbish we have on-screen now, my only complaint is to make the captions a bit smaller. At least with this design the ticker won't be cut off on my TV!

I like it too - it needs neatening up a bit but nothing that couldn't be fixed.

Also, I guess the "BBC NEWS" DOG could air without the red background, which would only have to come onto screen when the astons too - so actually that wouldn't be too intrusive at all.

It reminds me of the 2006 News 24 Tower pack.

Generally, I think this one is alright.

To be fair I don't think it's too bad but still it would irritate the hell out of me to have that massive big red block just for the small BBC News logo just to waste some space for the widescreen.

Plus the ticker fades out too early in my opinion making it quite hard to read it before it disappears.

Otherwise its a good design.
