I think the more pressing issue here is the fact you memorisefictional soap characters date of death.

The producers proabbaly had a bet to see if it was you or Jez who noticed it first. Wink

Well I dont tend to notice things like that as much as Steve does!

And Liam and Baby Paul share a headstone.

And Yes I will never forget the Date of Liam's Death - 17/10/08 lol

Some great droll humour in tonight's first epi. Becky recalling her various Friday 13th mishaps, Sean being called a font (he must've misheard) and Graham's disturbing meat-chopping technique. Although he did get an imfamous Kenneth Williams line in with Sally (creeper/trellis), so we'll let him off.

I recall when Ken did the Rovers mural for the 40th anniversary, they had a flashback sequence with Ken hearing/seeing various characters from the show's past.

I think it's best if the prouducers use such techniques sparingly, otherwise it detracts from the 'realism' of the soap and gets too post-modern.

Can't help noticing what appear to be a couple of funeral cars on the Street set in second of those pics. I wonder whose funeral they were shooting at that time. I doubt it was Liam's, that's a bit too recent for the satellite photo mapping sites.

I may be wrong, but I thought that was in the Millennium episode?

Hopefully just paper talk, but ITV to sell off Corrie, close Leeds and move Emmerdale to Manchester:

I'm sure there was a similar rumour about Corrie being produced by an indie a couple of years ago.

The Daily Express is a pile of rubbish though so, as ever, I'd take it with a pinch of salt.

thanks for those quick links, I was hoping somebody more computer savy would do that

the funeral may be baby Paul's, it's too late to be Vera's and too early to be Liam's

this is odd the first link shows a cloudy street and when you zoom in you get a sunny view Confused

the east view (view 3) shows some outside filming with a police car round the corner

now we know how to get around them blocking off the museum windows, hire a light aircraft and take your camera for a test flight Laughing
