Didn't she previously do both, and wasn't she employed on a reportedly high salary for doing so? I imagine they weren't happy at the loss of their 'catch' from BBC going on maternity leave for 12 months, but hey-ho! That's business!
Will Natasha even have the same draw for an audience after being off-screen for a year, a change in editorial direction for the news and a revamp of the channel identity?
If her agent was worth their salt they'll have written some sub-paragraphs into her contract for the eventuality of maternity leave. If not, then I offer myself to Ms Kaplinsky as a better agent or contract drafter in the future!

I wonder what this means for Natasha when she comes back? Will she take over from Matt at 5pm, Isla at 7pm or both?
