Did they come back in the end? I don't recall it ever being brought up on TVF.

Fantastic programme tonight, perfect mixture of clips and Griff doing pieces to camera; nice to see they've updated the music just a *touch*. Hope to see more editions in the near future.

I missed it. Sad Have to say it wasn't advertised very well as i had no idea it was on.

One question I have to ask is did they keep the music?

It was by PURE Chance I got this, yes there kept the music but jazzed it up a bit

No, they didn't.

I did notice that they added a fire alarm onto the clip because on the original it was pretty faint.

Does anyone have a clean clip of that, please?

Thought that was really good, Griff doing a good job whilst keeping faithful to the programme's style. The odd regularly seen clip ("dunking the beef") but some nice new stuff from Central and UTV, Gaynor on YTV's Tonight and the recent C4 News fire alarm incident.

The "dunking the beef" clip had me roaring with laughter - not just at what was said, but watching Phil and Fern trying (and failing) to contain themselves too.

Laughing

Just for you Steven O

I think Griff did a good job, and his monolgues weren't too circumlocutive-- as Mr Norden's often were (IMO).

A good mix of programmes there; unsurprisingly Central News's resident Severn-Trent goon, Colin Green, featured heavily Laughing And a certain Chris James falling off a skate-board.

Sadly Greggles's clips didn't appear to feature... Confused

I do remember the audience roaring with laughter at Norden's excellent joke along the lines of, "I often drive down the M3 to Southampton, or rather sit in a traffic jam".

I'm pleased they kept the music and with that Music 4 revamp it works perfectly.

I think the full show is on ITV catch-up.

Also, somebody has uploaded some early Denis Norden shows onto YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5IBqW6WDQo

I'm guessing the original current theme came into use on IBAOTN 6.
