BBC Six O'Clock News

Totally pointless I know, but I love doing these . Finally found out what the font was. The "NEWS" lettering still needs a bit of work . . . .

Very good re-creation.

Why not try modernising it, with a new colour scheme, font and visual style to the 3D. As a recreation it is nice (although a little too green, compared to the bluer original)

The font is "Aquarius Extra Bold".

Can anyone remember if the graphics from this period were by Lambie-Nairn? Just interestesd to know . . .

I think it was just the "Transmitter Tower" Nine O'Clock News titles which Lambie-Nairn started with for BBC News

Thanks. I suppose you could get the 'News' to look right by duplicating it over that one and making the font slightly smaller. Then add lower left shadowing to make it stand out.

Sorry, I know that's annoying, but it's useful for comparison. I'd say you've done a very good job considering you don't know all the fonts. You can improve it, but there's not too much to do. Good effort.
