Read the last few pages of the old N24 thread to see some of the valid reasons why this has been done. I think it's a great idea, and fair play to Charlie for going with it.

I don't care why its been done, its stupid. If people wanna talk about presenters than its fine, if they wanna talk about rotas, they can do it in their imaginary newsroom.

I'm sorry but I tend to agree. Before long both these threads will be on page 58 or something, one main thread discussing everything is fine, having two will be confusing for some people, and its not like something massive will happen to the presenter rota everyday, meaning it will end up being a white elephant. Other threads discuss presenters/presentation: Sky News thread, ITV News, AJE, CNNi.

oh really? explain to me why then every day do we have to trudge though post after post of "tim willcox was wearing a blue tie today, maybe they're trying him out for channel 4"? there is discussion and it needs to be OUT of the pres thread.

Obviously there won't be massive presenter changes everyday! That's the whole point! These idiots sit at their computers every day keeping a log of the News 24 presenters, a list of possible programmes they are being tried out for, and, just to be damn annoying and rude, post it on this forum! Keep them out the way, give them their own thread, great idea, but some other idiots come in here complaining, thus giving everyone a new problem.
