Is that for good? We got them every day on BBC Wales for about a week or two but I've not seen them since. The last one I saw was Saturday's Casualty.

Let's just say there was a trial period, and it's finished. They're certainly gone for the time being.

I saw a cross channel ECP for the first time the other day and there's so much wasted space on them. The writing's quite small, so there's just acres of empty red, black, teal and blue space, with the credits unreadable in their little corner - awful! Evil or Very Mad

I think the new ECP is ugly, there's too much clutter on screen.

Also, even without the ECP compared to what we're used to nowadays the scrolling, relatively large, credits now seem so dated.

WTF was the point, I mean they already had a slug, then they crop it so much that it chops of half the words of the credits. Confused

God, that's got to be the most pointless graphic of all time!

If job cuts are still on at the BBC, it should begin with the idiots who thought these were a good idea!

Living uses the same type of ECP. Shrinking them into a little corner. The credits are unreadable on my 32 inch 4:3 television. The BBC probably copied them, I think they started using them as they presume everyone is now buying HD televisons.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned or not but it really bugs me that after every show when they go back to the ECP theres always a glitch of the picture.

UPDATE: They've corrected it now [the credits], looks a lot better:

Actually, that's still out of date. They've now done a third version in four weeks of the new ECP, with the font from the left-size scroll, but sized for the new ECP.
