I don't think on this forum, there is much about Welsh programming, but there should be. Rownd a Rownd, Planed Plant, Wedi 7, they are fine examples of Welsh production. There should be more talk about S4/C on this forum!

I don't think it's the fact that S4/C produce rubbish, it's just the fact that the vast majority of people on the Forum cannot understand the Welsh language and choose not to watch S4/C for this, or they can't get access to the service. I'm sure they do a fine job, I don't understand a word of Welsh.

I can't understand a word of welsh either (and I have a lot of family living there), but I asked for S4C to be added to my Sky EPG at the start (1999), and got a very nice letter from S4C (kindly in both languages).
I'm sure the newly revamped S4/C will provide the service to the peeps of Wales that they need.

? As a Welshman who lives in Scotland, I feel very proud and thankful that the Welsh language is as prominent as it is in Wales, unlike Scotland where the Scottish Gaelic output is almost insignificant in its quantity, and is only broadcast in lieu of some English programmes on BBC2.

Rownd a Rownd actually has very high production standards, considering its budget, as does Pobol y Cwm. It's a shame so few people understand Welsh because the output available in the language is very often first class and rivals other British productions for creativity and quality, despite its far smaller budget.

Well now I don't get Rownd a Rownd -- it's always on in the winter, with christmas storylines etc, yet it's filmed in the heat of the summer [if such a thing exists in Anglesey].
Pam Fi Duw was good, but then that dodgy story came out in the news.
Mind you, with Welsh dramas etc, everyone keeps popping up in everything [bit of a limited market really].
By the way, UKGameshows.com has recently added a load of Welsh game shows to its database but we're lacking details on a lot of them, so if you happen to know anything about these...
