Right now feel free to close this if you wish Wink Very Happy

But if you have Freeview & have the Daewoo Digi Box (try this also on non Daewoo digi boxes) go to The Hits TV channel 18 & turn the subtitles on....

Now what I wan't to know is anybody getting subtitles up that are lyrics to the same song (Blue - Get Down On It).

This has happened for the last couple of days & I was wondering If anybody else was getting the same "problem"

not sure, havent seen a deawoo box in a while though,

do you think the subtitles for every song will work properely???

Doubtful

The average pop song will work as they will be readable

But a song like "Outkast's- GhettoMusik" will never work because of the fast rap parts.

D12 - My Band would be quite funny with subtitles because of all the bleeped words

Or that Mia Hi song with the foreign language in subtitled form

Eric Pryds Follow me DOESN'T need subtitles for obvious reasons Wink Laughing

songs with swear words will be the funniest!!! Laughing

Eminem - the real slim shady

Will SMith doesn't have to cuss in his raps to sell records

well I do so f*ck him & f*ck you to

Also the line about Christina Aguilera giving head to Fred Durst (or something to that effect. feel Free Asa to edit this line for legal reasons but it has been sang so many times everyone knows this line)

So obviously it does need subtitles for the people who don't know what the heck the song is going on about! Just hope they don't take up too much of the screen! Wink

Funny, I have the lyrics to Blue's (or Kool and the Gang's, the slightly better version) "Get Down On It" appearing on the Hits on my Grundig box - which I thought strange as they were showing Ciara's "Goodies" at the time.

In the days when MTV showed pop videos around 2001, some of the videos themselves were subtitled - Wyclef Jean's "Perfect Gentleman" and D12's "Purple Hills/Pills", although they got the lyrics slightly wrong to part of D12's song.

MTV's version: "Church'll have you, dirty girl, you know you want me in your world..."
"Purple Hills" version: "Shut your mouth, you dirty girl, you know you want me in your world..."
"Purple Pills" version: CENSORED Twisted Evil

Hard day at work, I know what it's called Because of the Steve Windwood version (Valerie) it samples.

BTW the subtitles have now dissapeared.
