Brilliant, Norris playing Summer Holiday, Classic Corrie!

I really liked the whole thing with Steve, Karen and Tracy tonight that was very good, can't wait for tomorrow's episode. But I thought the wedding was rather corny, brilliant bits with Ashley's middle name and Norris playing the Organ, but all that snow at the end of episode!

I wonder how much that cost Granada?

Just been watching the ITV2 showing after only seeing the last 10mins earlier.... My family decided not to watch it all as we thought it'd be too grim, and it has been. I really don't want to watch loads of bawling and shouting and OTT drama on Christmas Day. As for the stupid Christmas Day wedding it was nothing more than a weak farce.

I'm glad Karen is leaving, I've been fed up with the Tracey/Steve/Karen bawling and shouting for the best part of 18 months, way too much time has been spent on it, now I hope the show can move on.

It has been way too "EastEnders" in it's storyline this Christmas for my liking.

Overall I really enjoyed the Christmas Episode, I did feel the wedding, nice as it was, was wrong for Christmas Day, I mean how many people have ever been to a wedding on Christmas Day? It was just copying Eastenders. Really enjoyed the scenes with Karen and Tracy at the factory, and the later scenes in the flat with Karen and Steve, Brilliant acting from both Simon and Suranne there. Other scenes like the Duckworths and Baldwins were really good as well.

I watched the ITV2 show as well, that was really good with all the behind the scenes stuff of Karen's exit storyline. We also saw her first ever scene when Linda introduced her to Mike, id forgotton she was only a minor character when she arrived.

Final episode for Karen tonight then Crying or Very sad

Great episode, as usual. Brilliant, we had great drama as well as light relief, what more could you ask for.

That was a great episode and a really nice ending, loved the fade at the end as we see the black cab drive off, well done Surrane Jones, for an amazing performance.

I agree, great ending, it reminded me of Elsie Tanner's final exit. And we got almost the full theme tune played at the end there, that was nice.

Goodbye Karen, you will be missed Crying or Very sad

Goodbye, Karen... Crying or Very sad

What a wonderful end to tonight's episode, especially the ending theme (the first time they have played it in that form since at least 1992!) and the fade out. Brilliant - I agree, Karen will be sorely missed

Couldn't agree more. I've not liked the overall storyline at all (as I said yesterday) but I am sorry to see Karen go because her and Steve used to be fantastic together, and yes, it was great to have the fuller version of the theme and the fade to black - a shame it was rudely interupted by that trailer for the next programme.

I hope they find a way back in for her one day.
