Does anyone know when BBC Points West is meant to be having a revamp including new set??

It was said here that there will be NO desk and is meant to happen in the summer.

You could try e-mailing the editor - I'm sure they will know.

Now that will be interesting, a set with no desk.

I have a question. The backdrop of Bristol City Centre on Points West, is it a live generated image or a recorded image and is it a green screen?

BBC costcutting or simply minimalist?

Well it's nothing particularly new or revolutionary, is it? Why so surprised? Have a look at Look East and South Today.

Or you could try asking Mr Hate HTV West.

I'm sure he might just have an idea as well!

Doesn't South Today have a small podium-like thing big enough for two people to sit round it on science lab-type chairs and large enough to put a laptop computer on it?

Something like that... Look East have a lecturn thing as well. You need something to put your script on and the token laptop computer, otherwise it's a bit bare...

Ah, but when does a lectern become a desk?

When it has four legs as opposed to being a stand.

I believe it is live. If not it gets very well matched with the weather, light etc in Bristol!

Which begs the question, DAS, is it immoral to have a one night four legs with your dog?
