'The Hits' New Look

Except of course that Frankee and Eamon don't appear in the opposite singer's video (I saw them both within 10 mins on The Hits yesterday), so it makes it less obvious that that is the point.

And the Eamon version is much better anyway.

I quite like the new look however I'm not sure about the radioactive glow on everything. Maybe if that was toned down slightly.

Wonder if we will see a slight change on Emaps Radio Stations then? as they use the slogon now "This Hits For Liverpool" or where the station is based so Key 103's maybe "The Hits For Manchester"? anyway i know they changed all the EMAP stations websites a few months back.

I presumed you meant they weren't girlfriend/boyfriend in the videos (which was what Isaid) - presumably you meant in real life.

How easily we misunderstand each other.

Hmmm... some of the things about the new look are OK (I like the new scroll) but the new look is a bit too spangly and sparkly for me... I know EMAP have been tarting up the graphics on their channels lately and in some cases it works (The Box, Kiss, Smash Hits) and in some it doesn't (Kerrang, The Hits). Wonder what the graphics for the next CHW will be like - the new graphics rendered in gold, or something else? The Hits has picked up the trick other EMAP stations have of varying the colour of the graphics by slot/time of day (EG txtzone, FPF, Shout, Celeb News, KX, etc)... Overall I give the Kiss refix 8/10 and the Hits refix 5/10. And has Q ditched video selection for good?
