As was said, ITV2 is a subscription channel on Sky, and last time I checked you have to have at least the family package (i.e. the package that gives pretty much everything except premium channels) to get it.
Bear also in mind that ITV, C4 and C5 all transmit encrypted. They are *FTV* channels, not *FTA*. You must have a card (either any Sky subscription, an ex-Sky subscription card, a working Solus card (if any are still left) or one of the new replacement FTV cards that were issued for a brief period) in order to receive them.
And if you're in Ireland you won't get any of them
R U sure. Like i got all BBC Channels (ex. BBC World) on my Digibox, by tuning them in. Is there a way!
Thats because all the 8 BBC Channels are FREE TO AIR so EVERYONE can get them just like Friendly TV. Everyone can get it anywhere as long as you have the correct frequency. WHERE AS ITV1, C4, Five are FREE TO VIEW in UK ONLY and blocked out everywhere else, just like RTE, N2, TV3 are FREE TO VIEW in IRELAND only!!!
What on Earth are these people talking about?! You cannot get ITV1, C4 or five via DSAT unless you subscribe to Sky. "Free to View" cards for DSAT are no longer available.
Freeview is a completely different thing - the umbrella company that provides Digital Terrestrial Television. Once you've bought a DTT box, you will get (depending on where you live and how good your reception is) 30 or so channels without subscription. These include ITV1, C4, five and ITV2.
