ok I must be suffering from sense of humour failure this evening... but to be honest, it didn't suprise me, I mean, we have one single thread for an entire country's TV pres (The Wales Thread)...

To make it perfectly clear, especially to the thread starter, my previous post was sarcastic humour and please post separate topics related to TV presentation in this forum under separate threads.

Do not lump everything into this thread. Sorry Fanatic.

On a related programming note, this year we're actually trying to avoid the behemoth "The Official" threads. Regional threads are fine, because the most recent information is near to the end of the thread. But we're trying to avoid having people trawl through dozens of pages of text, à la the News 24 relaunch/World relaunch/National news relaunch speculation thread.

Many thanks in advance for your cooperation, and (if applicable) sense of humour.

Well, here's hoping for an increase in both during 2004. Wink

Surely excitement is in the eye of the beholder?

And the Wales thread is always much more active than the Scotland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, or Republic of Ireland threads, so it must have something that is lacking elsewhere.

Oh, I don't know. It'll be interesting to see how the "BBC TWO Wales (digital stream) becomes BBC TWO Wales +1" situation progresses as the evening wears on and the wine bottle empties...... Confused

Indeed - it has Jez. But, speaking as someone who works in television presentation in Wales, I was being ironic Smile

I do hope it is in safe hands Dan. Tell me, who are tonights announcers on BBC Wales? They all sound jolly good. I'm sure I heard one on a BBC leaving video I once got my hands on.

What sort of saddo would ask such pointless questions when they already know the answers?
