I'm just checking the Canadian channels on their special coverage, and I noticed that CBC and CTV News Channel will start their Biden Inauguration coverage earlier than the American TV channels.
CBC's special coverage will start at 10:00am ET, while CTV's special coverage will start even earlier at 09:00am ET.

I think France are leaving it to the news channels with specials on LCI, CNEWS, Franceinfo and BFMTV, although I'm sure the main 8pm bulletins on TF1 and France 2 will cover it in depth.
How do US networks usually cover the events - are they considered celebratory national events, similar to how we'd treat Royal events, with a long history, or more a political formality where the news channels especially remain entrenched in their political views.
I guess the tone will be quite different this year given events of recent weeks.
