Will Disney close all the UK linear kids channels?

End of an era I suppose, not an end of an era for Sky since they already have Sky Cinema Disney on top of a in-built Disney+ app.

Still though, 25 years of Disney Channel and 24 years of Disney XD/Jetix/Fox Kids... Wild to see the channels go through so many changes, yet their last few months whimper without a massive care in the world. There's definitely going to be a gap in the TV Guide without Disney, that is unless Sky decides to pick it up with their own kids broadcasting channel (Sky Kids) but time will tell if they will even bother since streaming is essentially the future.

There already is a Sky Kids, but it's an on demand service and not a linear channel.

Now, let's hope possibly a user here, will be able to record Disney channels' closures off Sky

All content from all 3 Disney channels will be removed from the kids section on Sky on Demand from 6am tomorrow.

End of a era, gonna miss you Disney Channel.

The British Disney Channel (not just it, actually) was getting very ugly, anyway, becoming a useless channel

The fact one of their most decent productions, The Owl House, is treated much better in the US and in the UK was given the very poor slot of 9.30pm (coz Jessie and Liv and Maddie repeats are more important), in a weekdays bomb format tells you something

Hmm... Cuts off mid programme I see! I bet that angered a few Virgin customers... I can see more angry customers (mainly kids at their parents) tomorrow morning when they’re gone from Sky as well and they had no idea of the closure.

Disney XD showed a September promo before Dude, That's My Ghost.

Wonder how the other 2 channels closed down on virgin, as a just after 5:30am closure was totally unexpected. It was lucky I've recorded it on my V6 box at the time as I was recording the last 24 hours of the channel.
