A bit of fun, leading on from the 90s style opening ITV Wales mimicked for Jonathan Hill's 25th anniversary using the old Wales Tonight titles.
They used an opening shot in the same style as the 90s and it struck me how much better it was than the usual sideways shot. It made the studio look so much bigger and coupled with the voice of god it was a very grand affair.
So that got me thinking, what would it look like as an actual opening using the current titles. I had to trim the titles and adjust the speed of certain segments to fit with the music, but it *kind of* works:
I like it, but then I always liked the pompous openings of HTV News.
