What is 4Power?
Well to put it simply, 4Power would be a children's channel owned and operated by the Channel Four Television Corporation and would be aimed specifically at kids between the ages of 9-15!
The idents and graphical style of 4Power could be any style you want!
Here are some things that I think would look appealing in each of the various graphics!
MENU - Name of programme and the time it would air!
For example:
9:00am 4Power Morning News
9:25am Tamagotchi! Tama-Friends Forever
9:45am New! The YTP Show Xtra
10:10am Totally Eurovision 30th Anniversary Celebration
10:40am ITV Rewind 31
11:00am Life Of Virchi
11:20am The World Of SMG4
11:45am My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
12:10pm 4Power Lunchtime News
CLOCK - A simple analogue clock with one line representing the 12, 3, 6 and 9 and dots to show other hours! The 3 hour line marks and the middle circle should be in ochre (a sort of orangey-yellow) and the hands and dots in white! The whole clock could be set against a dark orange marble square!
IDENTS - Whatever style you like!
PROMO - The end of the promo should include the name of the programme being promoted and the day/time it airs! If it's promoting a new episode, the text "NEW!" is displayed. If it's a new show, it is replaced with "ALL NEW!"
TECHNICAL FAULT SLIDE - The technical fault slide should display the following text "We apologise for the sudden technical fault in our programme as we are currently trying to fix the problem and we will resume as soon as possible" with the 4Power logo at the top of the screen! The text should be back and the background can be white with any shapes on it!
D.O.G - The DOG should be displayed at the top left of the screen and you can choose how it is animated in and out before and after the ad break!
CROSS CHANNEL PROMOTION - When a programme on 4Power is being promoted on another channel i.e Channel 4, More4, E4, Film4 etc, the promo should just be the same as the self promotion!
CROSS CHANNEL MENU - for this purpose, a smaller version of the 4Power logo should be used!
and finally...
THE LOGO ITSELF - The aspects of the logo should be very simple! First and foremost, the numeral 4 should be a decent size! You can choose any colour scheme you want, shades and gradients are allowed! The stylisation of the word "Power" can either be in all uppercase, all lowercase or just the P uppercase! Personally, I prefer the latter! The typeface used on everything except the technical fault slide, cross channel promotion and cross channel menu can be in either Chadwick, Euro Caps or Gill Sans! for the other 3, you can use Chadwick!
So, I can't wait to see what you can come up with!
