So as 2018 is on its way to the bins of the previous year and 2019 is coming out of the wrapper. We might as well predict what will be happening to the TV Channels.
Already Happening - ITV getting a new look.
My Predictions :
BBC News will get a new look
Comedy Central will get a new look that looks like the one from America
Channel 4 will have a right to show Netflix shows on their channel

You mist out Travel channel uk getting that awful USA look.
Following previous announcements, I think we can expect to see the following:
- Closure of Sky channels, possibly Sky 2 and Real Lives, following Sky's announcement a few months ago that they are looking to reduce their number of linear TV channels
- Launch of Vintage Music, recently announced by View TV Group, who previously operated Vintage TV's online stream
- Rebrand of some or all of the former CSC music channels, following their recent sale to Trace
- There will be six new BBC Two Curve idents added to the regular lineup across 2019, with one or two new Christmas idents being added to the existing three. And that will probably be it.
- Oneness will inevitably continue into 2019 with no new additions
- It'll be a good few months before Comedy Central UK gets the new logo from the US
- The Discovery/Scripps merger will result in the closure of at least three channels (and yes I know the merger has already happened)
- More4 will get new idents in the Autumn (bit of a long shot, but they could use some) but the logo will stay the same
- Sky actually sticks with the current Sky One/Atlantic/Arts logos all the way through into 2020
- One UKTV channel will go through big changes - before anything happens to UKTV itself
- One of the newer free-to-air entertainment channels will close
* ITV becomes ITV1.
* Sky Two to close.
* BBC 4 to close/move online/bits to move to BBC 2
* TRU Crime will replace TRU TV on freeview
* Paramount won't launche and 5Prime will turn out to be the same project.
* CITV to make a new saturday morning show to rival Saturday Mash up on BBC.
* BBC One [Region] HD
* Fox are allowed to acquire Sky Plc after Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox. This despite the issues raised around the culture of sexual harassment at Fox News.
* More cuts at Made TV. Made in Tyne & Wear and Teesside rebrand as Made in (the) North East. That's TV acquire Latest TV in Brighton.
* E4 to refresh/rebrand their presentation
* My prediction: BBC One, Two and Four refresh at Easter.
