These are my attemps at what news 24 might look like when it gets its ticker.

This is the Breaking news aston, notice the phone aston neatly placed below the dog, looks alot smarter than the current one:

Surely the breaking news aston nearly covers the screen. How would you see through it?

I don't like the aston, but I think that's what the ticker will look like. It fits in with everything (sports astons too), but doesn't go with the re-aligned coming up caption.
The stuff around the dog looks OK though.

I have redesigned the breaking news aston, I have added a live aston and a location aston and the breaking news aston would be transparent. HOPE YOU LIKE IT

I am making some more right now

I'm not sure if I would want the ticker, or breaking news astons to look like that, but it's not your fault. Blame the Beeb for their latest montrosity.
Speaking of montrosities I'll post up some N24 mocks I've just done in a mo.

I know it looks awful , but I am trying to make a new look with the astons the beeb already have.
