Personally I think the only reason it still gets viewers is because anyone can go to the nearest rope hanging over a large area of mud, film a fat woman swinging over it and then "hilariously" falling into it, send the tape off to YBF for free and get however much money they pay you for it nowadays.

Don't see how that could be a reason for its popularity. Maybe the viewers just find the clips funny? I know it's not very trendy to admit liking it, but I do. I find many of the clips hilarious, and having seen other versions from around the world, there's no doubt that ours is the best.

Oh, and by the way, this morning someone told me that the new You've Been Framed is to be shown on Australia's Seven Network.

Kirsty's Home Videos is a pale imitation, and isn't anywhere near YBF in terms of quality, popularity and budget.

I can't watch KHV because in my opinion the clips are ruined with crappy sound effects, canned laughter and Big Tits trying to inject personality into her voice and failing miserably.


That has to be my quote of the year - describing Kirsty Gallacher as "Big Tits".... LOL!!!!!! Laughing Perhaps that's the reason why many folk watch her fronting KHV?

I thought Kirsty was giving up TV to concentrate on fashion? Having seen one episode of Kirsty's Home Videos, I can't say that she'll be a big loss to the broadcasting industry. Very Happy

Neither... Very Happy
She has looks (and very good ones at that), and "a beautiful pair of knockers" (copyright Simon Groom, 1978), but looks and knockers do not a presenter make, especially as all she has to do on KHV is read an autocue.
From what I've seen of her on Sky Sports and RI:SE, she does have talent, but KHV is not the best vehicle for her - my impression is that all Sky bosses are doing are using her other "assets" (looks and boobs) to grab viewers. Perhaps that's why she decided to quit TV...... Wink

Obviously if KGV only has Kirsty out-of-vision, there's no way it would be as popular. To me, KHV is no more than a slightly more adult YBF, especially the uncut ones (and as Mike Reid did the same sort of thing for ITV in early 2000, I'm not really bothered).

Oh God - Forgot it was on now. I did watch YBF last week, Not too bad - Better that Mrs Husband snatcher doing it.

BTW - Am I the only one who was a little put off by Jonathon’s hairy neck? Look - the bottom half is hairy and off-putting. Am I the only one who sees things like that, or is anyone else put off slightly? Dont know if its as bad tonight, but last week it was distracting (I also think he needs a hair cut - he would look better me thinks)

Edit - Just seen this weeks - no, not as off putting.

Now you mention it ive just noticed his neck is hairy, I didnt notice this before, I dont mind hairy men though!

I dont think he needs a haircut as his hair suits him as he is, im sure he'd look nice with shorter hair too though
