East Is East was sign languaged on Saturday night, it is only for DTT viewers but it managed to do it on NTL, the idea being that if you don't like the BSL you can switch back to analogue and watch it.
But like each channel they have to commit to a certain amount of signed programmes, I have seen many signed films on ITV1 during the night, ditto with BBC One but that is just with normal programmes.

A rather shortsighted way of doing things - "switching to analogue" shouldn't be an option to broadcasters wanting to offer customised services... people who have digital will not want to (and probably cannot) change to analogue... I know all the TV's my my house that have digital don't even have analogue channels tuned in...

Yea, it's always been the hardest of channels to get where I live on top of a hill... actually, before we got 'Birmingham Cable' (analogue) all those years ago, we could never watch it...

I know someone who has never been able to pick up Channel 4 on anologue.
