STV to shut STV2 Local Stations

I once mentioned deep fried Mars bars to a Scottish friend who was horrified and confidently told me that most Scots prefer deep fried pizza.

That’s true, although it’s been years since I’ve had one lol

One of the businesses I promote is currently serving strawberries in batter and cream for Wimbledon... and they taste incredible.

I can confidently confirm that. I'd wager more deep fried Mars bars are sold to tourists than people who live in Scotland. And deep fried pizza, or a "pizza crunch", is quite a thing.

I have no idea why we're all so unhealthy.

The only deep fried mars bar I even had came from a chip shop in deepest... Derbyshire.

I don't think I've even seen them for sale in any Scottish chip shops I've been in.

I once had a deep fried battered Cadbury's Creme Egg from a chippy in Huddersfield.

I used to have STV2 on the add channels section on Sky, this was replaced with the That’s TV Scotland slide, the frequency has now switched to a channel called Climax.

I’ll leave that there.
