Has anyone heard if Strictly will be bringing back their live Saturday night results show?

I heard this rumour last week, since X Factor are moving theirs to Sundays.

It was said towards the end of last year they would, but who knows.

If sacking her wasn't bad enough, the BBC making out her becoming The One Show Strictly Come Dancing expert is some kind of step up is surely the killer blow. I'm sure by September she'll get out of that.

BBC have confirmed Alesha Dixon will be on the judging panel.

Is Alesha Dixon a choreographer? Ridiculous choice in my opinion but that's showbiz! *cheesy grin whilst tapdancing like Lionel Blair*

For the first week at least, it'll be on Friday.

I think its safe to assume there's very little you don't say.

I know she won it in 2007, that does not suddenly make her a qualified judge. In my opinion.

And you Dancing on ice jason not on ice so not fair.. does not make sense.

I think this is a bad move for the programme. IMO the only person really qualified to judge on Ballroom & Latin dances is Len Goodman as he has actually danced them himself at a competitive level. Arlene has at least had a career in dance choreography, whats Alesha done? Ok she won the competiton but that is one competiton. That doesn't make you expert enough to judge other dancers, the amount of actual true ballroom & latin dance steps she must have learnt would be minimal compered to people that have danced all their lives. Once Brucie retires and Len makes the move Dancing with Stars only - both of which IMO ARE going to happen at some point, I think it will be curtains for this show again, which will be sad for Ballroom dancing in this country.
