You don't remember the fab S Club TV then?

It did mean Holly and the rest of the presenters appeared in the first "Dec Says" sketch that
Cat The Dog appeared in, as shown in the doc.

Since when did having mental health struggles mean that somebody cannot be a good influence? Her life at the time might not be the perfect one that people liked to imagine (but I doubt anyone actually manages to meet those standards) but it hardly sounds as though she was going round telling children to puke up their dinner.

That's true enough, apologies for sounding callous. It wasn't anything to do with her, of course, as that wasn't how she was promoting herself, but it illustrates how the press were putting kids presenters under pressure at the time.

Even discounting the risque comment Ant makes afterwards, I still consider the undignified sight of Richard Whiteley being farted through the wall to be hilarious:

And Cat kicking her leg to fart:

Let's be honest, fart jokes were SM:TV's bread and butter 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Did she just blow dick through the wall?

I wonder how much Ant Dec and cat recorded for the documentary and how much made the edit.

I suspect quite a bit was filmed as you'd want too much rather than too little for a documentary, and there was already a lot included in this! I also assume there was a lot more chat with some of the contributors that were involved in the show. I think H & Claire spent half a day filming for the documentary, to only appear a couple of times in the final edit.

I would love to see an extended version of this documentary released.

That story about Dec getting drunk in the restaurant and being rude to someone, and Cat pretending to be the girlfriend of the person he was rude to the first time they met was something they also mentioned in that final SM:TV back in 2003.

I'm surprised they haven't released it on iTunes. They seem to be releasing a lot on there at the moment, including documentaries and they're a big enough name for it to potentially make them some extra money. Although I perhaps with it being a co-prod with Mitre they can't do it.

And don't forget is mentioned in their book too! Ha!

I'll find it hard to believe they could have filmed for half a day and not talked about their time on the show, presumably they had considered putting some of the 2002-03 era in there but decided to leave it out in the end.

Oh 100%. I guess the producer wouldn't have known the full amount of what was going to be included in the documentary until it made the edit. I guess having their stories from when they presented would have helped if they felt there needed to be a bit more about the show after the Ant and Dec years. Could also have been a case of it being in the final edit, and then Ant & Dec deciding they didn't want the later years included in the show. I recall somewhere Ant saying that he'd seen the first edit of the show, so very possible stuff was taken out at their request.

A bit disapointed as well they had a segment on the Sabrina poems, but didn't include the clips of Ant with a long list of things Sabrina's lawyers had supposedly said Dec can't say any more which he was meant to unroll, but hadn't taken the elastic band off and burst into hysterics saying "that didn't happen in rehearsal", or the New Year's Day 2000 show where Dec went to the US to interview Melissa Joan Hart and read a poem to her and asked her to be his "lass".

They did show split second clips of both of those things later in the show, but not in their context sadly.
