As it has been said before, Sky2 hasn't "lost its way", it's simply being used as Sky1's 4Seven and My5, although, if I don't get wrong, the channel still has the original branding from Sky1 2010-ish rebrand and hasn't really updated it in order to catch up with the Sky1's latest rebrand, which makes us understand it might really close, after all

The only new presentation that Sky2 has received, is a tweaked up logo and a new break bumper. I don't think Sky would have ever considered to replicate the new Sky1 presentation for Sky2.

As for Sky2 losing its way, it's been superseded by Sky Living and Atlantic, and has been diluted by Catch Up TV and Sky Boxsets. However it least fulfills its remit of being a catch up channel, though Sky have reduced its commitment over the years.

Not replacating it for Sky2, but create something similar along Sky1 lines..

I don't know, generic idents with a centered Sky2 logo being there all the time and elements of the Sky1 branding (e.g. swirling floor pieces: http://theident.gallery/player.php?id=SKY1-2016-ID-3-1 ) as a background and its music etc..

Definitely not something like having a "2" character instead of "1" on the idents, but something like Pick TV's first branding
