Aaah this a shame, but Sky Games just hasn't been the same since it rebranded from Sky Gamestar god-knows how many years ago!

I enjoyed many a happy hour as a kid playing Beehive Bedlam, Big Top Drop and Word Crunch. Some of the tech was revolutionary at the time, with online gaming against other people as a part of the service (Liveplay) for a time (which worked surprisingly well through the standard modem in the Sky box. With the advances of mobile apps, it's an understandable decision to axe it though.

Incidentally, they've recently launched Beehive Bedlam as a mobile app - with the inevitable micro-transactions included.

Yeah, i agree with you. The music when you opened Gamestar was so catchy that they shouldn't have changed it! Then they brought that pink ball...
