From wotsat.com:

'Poor sales for Sky+ Digiboxes
Sky has only sold one thousand or less of its new Sky+ digital receivers, which combine a digibox and personal digital recorder, according to industry reports. The system's high price, installation cost and monthly subscriptions are all believed to be putting customers off.'

Are we suprised? i'd buy one tomorrow if it wasnt for the monthy subscription fee, Sky costs far too much already and channels just keep on closing.

I'm the same, if the monthly sub, was removed I would buy it straight away. Even if it was a one of charge - I would still pay it but I won't pay the £10 a month on top of what I am paying at the moment.

Aye, Sky are becoming real money grabbers at the moment, take skyactive, the cost of their pay2play games is now 50p, sky box office movies have gone up in price, and they charge a monsterious amount for their text messing services

its a shame they have no real competition...

Tivo is much better.

At least it records things that you want it to. Unlike sky + which might decide not to record it for you.

Or even delete it!
