They've brought out the Reporters' Log again for this mornings bombings in Iraq. I think this is such a great idea, it really does bring a sense of urgency to the reporting - each report seems to leave a cliff hanger.
I do think it could be presented better though. It would be easier to use if it was presented as a kind of forum (like this one for example) but obviously the public wouldn't be able to post. You could then jump to the most recent posting rather than having to scroll down to the bottom etc.
They could even have several different threads if more than one important story was breaking.
