Premier League Coverage PPV and beyond

After this round of the FA Cup is complete, so presumably Wednesday.

I'd imagine tomorrow, once the Tottenham position is clear after tonight's match. Tomorrow's FACR4 match is irrelevant to the PL. Broadcasters are bonkersly busy with sport this month. There's UEFACL and EL to add back into the mix too.

Interesting that BT are hosting their fifth match coverage on location from the Amex in Brighton, whereas the other four are from Stratford.

New additions to the BT App on most platforms - Manager and Tactical Views

Sky used the Saturday Night Football graphics for their 3pm kick-offs.

They have done so for at least the period since PPV ended.

Makes sense - it's all one programme from 3pm to 10pm. One set of break bumpers, one set of studio gfx, keep it simple.

As I mentioned a while back elsewhere...it may make sense from a production point of view, but woe betide the poor viewer trying to make sense of “Saturday Night Football” on air less than three hours after midday.

To be fair I think at the moment they'd be grateful to be told it's a Saturday.

After watching that game, they need reminding they're watching football too.
