Is it still policy to put the BBC logo before programmes?

I think some posters here have been far more concerned with how the logo is used in titles than the BBC ever were, but completely agree the BBC Production logo looks awful, whilst the new Worldwide/BBC Video logo isn't much better. The BBC really need to decide whether they're boxing their logo or not as just as they were beginning to move away from it, things like this (and beforehand the BBC News logo) cropped up.

Notice now BBC Scotland productions tend to have a BBC Scotland logo on the titles. I don't think BBC Wales do, but they have a front cap on BBC Wales productions made for BBC Wales. Not sure if BBC NI have their own logo as such.

NI have that green squiggly thing with the dot, it's in the top right of their website but is rendered on screen in a more 3D manner.
