Just the adder (unless you count any non-native breeds that have escaped!). AIUI The venom is relatively weak, so it's unlikely to kill you-- unless you have a weak heart. Otherwise an adder bite would just make you feel very ill, but there is medication available to counter it.
Adders are very timid and will usually slither off if they sense humans approaching, unless they are dozing (which is when I've seen them in the wild). So for one to bite you, you'd have to accidentally stand on/by one, or deliberately poke it-- I'm sure Paul did the former!
