how are these broadcasts being introduced? do they have the standard: ident then spinning ballot box(ie the "now a referendum campaign broadcast by..." bit) ? if so are the idents regional and is the voice over on the "spinning ballot box" a london voice or a local voice?

are they going out to cumbria - even though theyre not involved?

On itv1 Tyne Tees, standard news ident and national announcer introducing Carol Malone to discuss the referendum. No verbal channel identity given - shame, it would've been a good opportunity for a "This is Tyne Tees on itv1"

You are indeed correct - apologies. Mind I just noticed an itv endcap and not the itv Tyne Tees endcap.
