Greek public broadcaster ERT has introduced a new corporate logo and new looks for their channels.

This is their first new logo since the broadcaster was brought back from the dead in 2015.

This is their new corporate promo and slogan.
Their slogan, I believe, translates as "Every day, our best"

And here's the new idents for ERT1, 2 and 3. Reminds me a bit of BBC Scotland mixed with Rai 1, 2 and 3.

And here's a look at bumpers and the promo style. All 3 channels share the same promo style but with their channel logos and colours.
Also featuring a bumper for ERT Sports.
ERT World also has the new look, with a new light blue colour.

Might wanna watch out for a blurt of the N word in the music used for this promo!

The different elements to form the box on the idents remind me of Sky's 2008 channel idents.

Exactly what I was thinking - a similar sort of colour scheme too. I feel like they could’ve had a lot more fun with the idents though and the bumpers are a little weird, I think they should all be differentiated a little more than just slight changes to the orbs.

It's nice that ERT finally has an identity again. The ident above is what has been used on ERT1 since they re-launched in 2015 (there's a version with the other channel logos, same style, same music).

ERT did actually release a press statement earlier in the year to say they had a rebrand coming for the 2020/2021 TV season.

But then silence until Sunday evening when a new campaign video launched. They then put out a press statement to say the programming would begin on 12th October and that the new look would launch then next morning (at 05:30 28/09/2020).

I'm hoping they add more idents / bumpers to the mix but think that what we've seen so far looks good and is a huge improvement on what went before.

Your wish has come true as another ident for ERT3 popped up on YouTube!

EDIT: We have an ident for ERT Sports!
The new look and logo was apparently done by designpark, a design agency based in Athens.

These idents make me think of BBC Scotland (the channel).

I was also hoping that they'd update the news presentation as well as part of this new look but so far, no. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a refresh in October when the new programs start.

I did see some Greek sites complaining about the cost of these new idents (€60,000) and they think the logos for ERT1, ERT2 and ERT3 are a rip off of the ones used by the Italian channels RAI1, RAI2 and RAI3.

Well, ERT news programmes did get new intros earlier in the year, so I don't expect that to change.
Maybe just update them slightly with the new ERT logo?

So we have an ident for ERT World, love the ink blot in water style animation they went for.
Kinda relates to Greece being a country that loves the sea.

So ERT or EPT?

The 'P' in Greek is "Rho", so although it looks like P for Papa, the word sounds like it begins with an 'R' (Ellinikí Radiofonía Tileórasi). ERT in written English, ΕΡΤ in written Greek.
