Has the "Multichannel Era" killed off quality Television?

So many channels - but is there something to watch? (October 2015)

I proud to say WELL DONE ITV!!!! it class!

I knew that post was going to come back and haunt me, BUT i will say this, back in 2009 ITV was dire and going a major overhall. The fact it managed to make something half decent had to be praised; As the weeks went on, and then the second series appear it become dire, and it seem ITV were not putting in a full effort.

Its like you having to deal with crap and when something less crap comes along you think wow, without releasing its still not a good as it should. ITV should have tweeted the series, and increase the running time.

If they want to reboot anything, it should be Treasure Hunt. Enough time has passed since that half arsed attempt by the BBC to try it again. It would surely be a hell of a lot easier to make now than it was 30 years ago.

Quite a few BBC local radio stations have Treasure Hunt inspired shows which seem to go down pretty well. Albeit with a radiocar or Verv rather than a helicopter.

Good way to get around the patch and get plenty of listener interaction.
