Just heard the CA talking to someone (not me, the viewer) at the end of Coronation Street. I'll try to post a capture in a bit.

I like the thread title.

Here is the video. The poor visuals are my doing (I'm trying to save bandwidth/disk space) but the poor audio is how it was broadcast on ITV1 this evening.

Not really, they're more live than they are recorded and in most cases always have been. The new centralised ITV is more live than some regions were before (Westcountry was always only live for 12 hours a day for example)

Quite boring. I remember Graham Rogers rehearsing links over the top of You've Been Framed in the days of regional continuity. "This is Meridian" was pretty much all he said, you'd think he would be used to that bit having been with the station for a decade. Laughing

remember the Bigger Breakfast leaving the studio mikes open during a cartoon and you could hear them rehearsing the next part

also on the Big Breakfast, during Streaky Bacon, they left the camera feed open on the monitor behind Richard and you could see a rather wonky shot as the camera man walked from the kitchen to the lounge and set up for the next shot, it was on for ages until they put the BB slide up

couldn't get the link to work as missed the second bit of corry (typical I miss a cock up Mad ) so what was said
