I think it's more a simple case of the teletext status bar being occasionally mixed up with Presfax (if that is what it's still called). It's nothing new either. If you change channel at the right moment you can even find out what ident is coming up - I remember once switching over to BBC1 at 8:30pm and the teletext bar displayed "MAASAI +12". Guess what the ident was.
