A few things I wanted to roll into one :

Crossroads - no longer carries sponsorship

Night & Day - instrumental version of theme tune played at the end (no Kylie !!!!)

Rumour - Emmerdale due to take the 7:30pm slot on ITV1, Corrie to be moved to 8:30pm

Is Night&Day really shot on proper film? Does anyone know why?

although i don't watch it corrie should stay at 7.30pm
it's made the slot it's own. why change it?

It's all about ratings, ITV1 see it as a way of bringing people back to the channel after Eastenders on BBC1.

shame they concentrate solely on ratings and not quality

if they had quality then i could be persuaded to watch them myself. to be honest the soaps at present are very poor.

ITV soaps maybe, BBC one's aren't! EastEnders last night as fantastic! Poor Lil' Mo! And Pauline's brawl with Piggy Mitchell was pure class!

i hardly watch any soaps but i'd say that from snippets alone eastenders looks really good.

Surf probably refused to sponsor the show with it up against Neighbours! Is the endcap in the ECP area now then?



No, I think that either Crossroads or Night and Day is moving to 7PM (hopefully the former as N+D has an omnibus on ITV1 anyway - Crossroads doesn't, theirs is on ITV2) then Emmerdale goes to 8.

Yeah, I think it is - it's got that American slow-shutter look to it, hasn't it? Crossroads seemed to have it for a short time after its comeback last year (God that sounds so wierd now, doesn't it?!) but then stopped it/
