Well we're now 22 days into the new look, and I'm noticing a trend on ITV1 that when a rebrand takes place, changes are made to the announcing team.

When the second set of celebs came in, David Allan mysteriously vanished from the overnight shift to be replaced by Andy Jay. Now ITV1 has again changed its look, we have not heard Paul Jamieson or Sasha Twining since. Graham Rogers, Paul Seed and Sonia Clark are still there, joined by a new female voice.

Have Paul and Sasha gone, or are they on an extended holiday?

Well if you look on Paul Jamieson's website in the Announcers section, it says the Sasha now freelances.

Paul Jamieson was doing ITV1 last Saturday, I don't think he's gone anywhere.

He did overnights on ITV1, after originally announcing for ITV2.

Jamieson's web site sums it up really, doesn't it? You go there and there's absolutely NO way of shutting him up.

Oh that name brings back memories. Annie was hugely popular up in Tyne Tees land too. Sadly missed.

Love Auntie Trish and Auntie Maggie too.
