ITV Network Transmission Issues

ITV1 London analogue now has white noise, vision of Loose Women and is in stretchy-vision. (looks like 4:3 being stretched to 16:9 L)

I've got Citv on ITV4 here

ITV2 and ITV3 are now back, ITV4 still on static logo. The ITV2 DOG is also a lot brighter now, back to the original coloured one before it was toned down.

ITV1 London analogue is back to normal (14:9 L) and normal sound.

Yorkshire still in the wrong aspect ratio on analogue. 16:9 squished into a 4:3 frame, so everyone looking tall and thin.

In that case I wonder if this was something to do with the problems the other week. I.e. they put some temporary arrangements/kit in place which they've just taken out of circuit... with a planned break in transmission


Got ITV1 back on cable too now

ITV1 London DTT is back, and a VERY good bitrate, 5mb - 6.3mb lol

We're back to ITV1 London analogue converted on DTT with white noise.

STV now showing 14:9 letterbox on DSAT.

Sandy Heath is showing a 4:3 picture, streched to 16:9 and letterboxed in a 4:3 frame, still with white noise for sound.

ITV1 on cable (presumably derived from DTT) was perfect but then at the end of the ad break it's gone like the analogue service did earlier - white noise on audio and double letterboxed (it's a 14:9 letterboxed image letterboxed again by my box which is in 4:3 LB mode!)

interesting that the commercials seem to be fine, but the programme is disrupted
