Have ITV announcers been asleep for the past couple of months.???It seems that the true effects of the recent merger ? between Carlton and Granada hasn't filtered down to them yet. They just can't let go of Carltons name. This lunchtime the announcement into Central news was "This is ITV 1 Carlton..........." 
Sure Mr Allen wouldn't like to be hearing that megga gaff

Though the region is now officially known as "ITV 1 Central" The announcers just don't get it . They call it everything else BUT. There has been" This is Carlton" and even ITV Central England.
Come on.... lets be consistent at least.
